There was plenty of noise floating around the blogosphere the last few days about a New York Times article where Billy Bragg claims that web startups should be paying him when they cash out.
Techcrunch responded by saying that the whole idea is nonsense and stating that:
Recorded music is nothing but marketing material to drive [...]
