There was plenty of noise floating around the blogosphere the last few days about a New York Times article where Billy Bragg claims that web startups should be paying him when they cash out.

Comdey plucks a strand within my being that other advertising ploys don’t. Sexual ads pluck a few down low while other advertising techniques don’t register at all. Attention principles are at work.
